WARNING..... I recently had problems with updates through SoA-web and SSH so please be aware that this may kill your SoA installation on Cubox and maybe other systems! My Cubox is a Cubox-i4.
Update will try to install new 'uboot' and 'linux' modules... uboot-cubox-i linux-imx6-Cubox-dt If either or both of these are installed, your Cubox will likely fail to boot and it is impossible to recover AFAIK. Solution... Don't update through SoA-web Or SSH until access to both these modules is blocked. To block the modules... SSH into Cubox Edit 'IgnorePkg' entry in '/etc/pacman.conf' as follows IgnorePkg = uboot-cubox-i linux-imx6-cubox-dt Delete # at the beginning of the line if necessary or add the above to any existing modules in your 'IgnorePkg' entry. After editing and saving and while still at command prompt use 'pacman - Syu'. Don't update anything at this stage, just reject the updates by typing 'n'. Look at the output produced by 'paceman -Syu'. It should tell you that both modules will be ignored and if this is the case you can safely update via SSH or SoA-web. If both are NOT shown as ignored it isn't safe to update. I had a hellish time recovering because installing from scratch either through SoA-web or using Triodes script automatically pulls in the new modules. There's no access through SSH or HDMI so as far as I can see there's no way to get in to correct anything. The only way to recover is from an image backup of a previous installation. Which is all very well if your image isn't corrupt - like mine was 😒 Hopefully this will help someone.
