Nancy-
I tried to find the Apple LocalTalk Bridge but was not successful.
I too have thought about using other drivers for my Epson- which is 
exactly as you say- serial and parallel connections. Maybe we'll succeed 
if we keep at it.

I'm going to have to solder in another PCI socket to get USB, as all 4 
of mine are filled...
