Too expensive IMHO. I got a G4 tower on ebay for 645.00 US. You can run Jaguar stock on that box but it could be a little slow and Quartz Extreme would not function. At the very least you could do a B&W G3 tower for that. The 9600 is a nice box and with some work would run Jaguar nicely, but starting out at 590.00 you would have to put too much into it. About 300.00 at least for the G3 upgrade, ram, IDE card & drive, etc. and what is the video card in it? I'd say 16 or above is good. Does it have that? If not, more money.
Might as well get a G4 tower with AGP for 650.00 to 800.00 range. At the top of that range, you probably wouldn't need to put anything into it. Id you can get the 9600 for like 350.00 - 400.00, maybe then.
