Hi Andrew (and Matthias),

I also run V 05.01.54 on another machine (P4). Both machines Windows XP Prof
although the Laptop with the V 05.01.64 on it has some differences in the
XP.

Both RS variants have the Light Sensitivity Channel in "Channels".

The P4 runs the Light sensitivity material perfectly ... which I didnt know
until just now. But the laptop fails as I have outlined previously.

In both machines the light sens option is over-written in the properties
colour box although as Stefan points out ... this is a display effect only
and the Light sens value is recalled accurately.

Checking the Channel list is the only test I have done so far on the options
folk have suggested .... conclusion: the channel is included in the list of
channels. The effect fails only on the laptop which has the later Version of
RS and also some small variations in OS.

It is no longer a problem for me now that I have firstly settled on a "good
enough" work-around, and secondly, that I can do the work on the P4.
However, I will try the other options on the laptop as time permits ... and
report.

Thanks

Neil Cooke
