Please don't do that.

Why? Because we would lose some freedom in our discussion.

Many things we have said in the past on this list are not worth beeing
saved.
And many things I have said on this list, I am not proud of.
It's just that I feel that I will be shy next time If I knew they would be
saved and accessible to anyone later.

I like the feel that this list is private. Even if it's just an illusion.

Imagine putting the last post about "No Wiki" on a Database accessible
forever to anyone.

I think that someone should compile usefull information from this list and
put  them on the net for everyone to browse.

There is less and less privacy in this world, don't make it worst.

The point is that if we knew these reply were compiled on a database (and
accessible), we would not discuss as we did in the past.

I haven't checked yet the complete mail-archive of
www.mail-archive.com . Maybe it reaches back longer. If not you could
also contact the provider of it. Maybe they can add these mails.
