True, but this could also happen on the web forum, and I don't
think the consequences are too dire. By default all threads
show up as only a single entry within the document, unless
they are deliberately expanded. I think this is the best way
to display typical interactive discussion, which is not the
same as annotation.
BTW, there is also a form of annotation available, which I
don't think is currently set up to be as visible as it should be:
you can create a 'commentary' article which would normally
be used as an intermediate between query/response type
discussion and creating a new version of a document
component. However, presently you have to create a new
topic version to insert commentary, which may not be the
ideal behaviour.
