Great. I gather that this is being done to possibly later move our
documentation system to a more writer friendly environment (commenttext).
Maybe you can start out with one or a few of the function reference
entries. These follow a rather strict format due to their nature, which
is a small subset of the docbook DTD and as such should be the easiest
starting point to incorporate XML functionality into commenttext. With a
few examples, work on that could start in parallel with the conversion
effort.
