Did you read some docs about forcing this port by midgard-data and datagard?
You define yourself which port should be used.
Since Midgard 1.6.2 midgard-data and datagard checks if port defined by you is
already defined
in any Apache configuration files. If it is datagard doesn't do any cahnges to
conf files.

datagard creates own configuration files to avoid any problems, what you define
as host name
its port it's up to you.

Michael , please stop. You hurt yourself. You force using cache and set root
file
as nommp (AFAIR ).

This is not needed for vhosts to be running.

I think I must say you do experiment.
I can not describe you what you should do exactly as there are plenty of things
to be done.
That's why we have tool like datagard.

Piotras

P.S. I did not notice midgard-apache module loaded anywhere.
