I think that Craig came up with Template Method pattern and that
necessitated CoR, if I am not mistaken.

Hopefully CorR, which is old as the hills, is merely a temporary
solution to the difficulties caused by the use of the Template Method
pattern and hopefully this is just so in the extensible request
processor idea.

I think that we should be at least skeptical about anyone in direct
competition with Struts on the payday front making suggestions about
which way Struts ought to go.  I think the CoR stuff is really being
overblown and probably would be totally unnecessary had a better
pattern than Template Method been used out of the gate.
