Well the easy part would be to just host jetty in phoenix and then you can use whatever web framework your want. But perhaps I misunderstand your meaning. I think the real advantage would be to use Avalon services within an existing framework. So far it seems the best ways to do that are either get a remote handle on the container (ie- Merlin's JNDI approach) or extend the framework to have Avalon work within it.
