I certainly don't expect you to solve all these problems for me. I just
thought it might help if you knew what I was trying to accomplish. :-)
My two cents: I send you to your mail a sample database that stores the
URL of a picture the user chooses from a file picker (implemented with
file preview).
Not what you're looking for, but may give a hint.
Some warnings:
* it is in Spanish (better said Castilian[1], as I don't live in Spain)
* it is from my "stone-age" (checking now, I've found some mails asking
Frank some dummy questions)
Lucky me I've learn from these days, so I should update this. But for
now you can get something out of it.

[1] IMAGENES_EMBEBIDAS means EMBEDDED_IMAGES
and IMAGENES_RELATIVAS want to mean IMAGES_STORED_RELATIVE_TO_THE_FILE
