I have a web site I'm converting from 40+ pages of hard coded html tables to a few templates and a mysql database.
The data are presented in tables and everything copies and pastes nicely into individual cells of a Calc spreadsheet.
My problem is that many of the elements being copied from the web site are html links. When I paste those into Calc, they remain links and only links. I want to convert them to plain text but nothing I have tried in OOo will do it.
I have to think that I've overlooked a setting or selection in OOo somewhere.
Any help to get me off this point where I've been hung up for a week is appreciated.
