Hi Joe Conner, deinstalling OpenOffice 2.4.1 before installing
OpenOffice 3.0 rc1. And uncheck 'Transfer personal data' by the
installation of OpenOffice 3.0 rc1. I have done it so and it
freezes after step five by clicking finish. soffice.bin goes up to
80%-99% cpu usage. Allready deinstalled it because having also some
problems with the internet that wasn't there before. Strange, but I
relaunched, and this time it finished normally. Personal data did
transfer by itself.
