I'd like to be able to use OpenOffice but the only English version
listed on your download page is a US one. Is a UK English version
available, please?
Many thanks,

As far as the UI is concerend, I don't think there is a British English
version at the moment. I just put up with this, to my mind, very minor
incovenience.
Of course there is, Harold! I'm using it with 2.4.1 and 3.0 rc1 with no
problems (to date :-)). You'll find the language pack in the ../extended
directory on whichever mirror you prefer.
I don't tend to use mirrors. I just download from the OOo web page and there
isn't a British English version there. There isn't even one on the
"localisations" web page <http://projects.openoffice.org/native-lang.html>.
I also doubt the OP of this thread will be using a mirror.
Last I heard of a British English version it was withdrawn because it was
quite badly broken and fixing it wasn't on the radar.
Where do you find mirrors for OOo? Are there links from the OOo web site?
Where please?
Also, "./extended" sounds like *nix. I'd need a Windows version as, I think,
would the OP. Is there one? Where please? The UK Mirror Service site
http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/download.openoffice.org/stable/2.4.1/
doesn't even have a "extended" directory.
Harold:
If you click on the 'Parent Directory' a couple of times, it will take
you to where you can select the 'Extended' directory.
