As far as the UI is concerend, I don't think there is a British
English
version at the moment. I just put up with this, to my mind, very minor
incovenience.
Of course there is, Harold! I'm using it with 2.4.1 and 3.0 rc1 with no
problems (to date :-)). You'll find the language pack in the
../extended
directory on whichever mirror you prefer.
I don't tend to use mirrors. I just download from the OOo web page
and there
isn't a British English version there.There isn't even one on the
"localisations" web page

I also doubt the OP of this thread will be using a mirror.
Last I heard of a British English version it was withdrawn because it
was
quite badly broken and fixing it wasn't on the radar.

If you click on the 'Parent Directory' a couple of times, it will take
you to where you can select the 'Extended' directory.

b) Even if I do I don't see anything that looks like a British English
version of OOo for Windows
c) How would I have got to the mirror site from an OOo web page? By "OOo
web page" I explicitly mean starting at www.openoffice.org and following
clear unambiguous links that a newbie would understand.
