Thanks for the response, but I need more detailed instructions. My OOo
3.0 on Ubuntu doesn't have dialog boxes like the above.

I go to Tools > Macros > Organize Macros > OpenOffice.org Basic. This
gives me a dialog box titled "OpenOffice.org Basic Macros. At the top
is a box labeled Macro Name, and underneath it is a panel labeled Macro
>From and listing My Macros, OpenOffice.org Macros, and Untitled1.
(Untitled1 is the name of the current open document.) The My Macros
folder is empty. (In 2.4.1 there are libraries containing the macros
that I created previously.) There is a center panel labeled Existing
Macros In:, and to the right are buttons labeled Run, Close, Assign,
Edit, New, Organizer and Help.

Since you said to use the Organizer I click the Organizer button. This
gives me another dialog box, labeled OpenOffice.org Basic Macro
Organizer. There are three tabs, Modules, Dialogs and Libraries. I
click on the Libraries tab and I the dialog box displays a spinbox for
Location (by default set to My Macros and Dialogs), and underneath an
empty panel labeled Library. To the right are buttons labeled Edit,
Close, Password, New, Import, Export and Delete.

I click on the Import button and I get yet another dialog box, this
time a file browser window. I navigate to ~/,openoffice.org2/user/basic
and I find a library called Library1. (In 2.4.1 this is where my macros
are stored.) I select Library1. I have two options at the bottom:
Cancel and Open, and on the bottom left buttons for Add and Remove. I
tried clicking on Add, but it did not seem to add Library1 to my 3.0
libraries. If I click on Open it just opens the Library1 folder, inside
of which are dialog.xlb and script.xlb.

If I click on script.xlb or dialog.xlb the browser dialog box
disappears and I get a small dialog box labeled Import Libraries. There
is a panel labeled File Name: script.xlb containing Library1 with a
checked box in front of it. In the upper right are two buttons, one is
blank and the other says Cancel. But if I hover over the blank button
it suddenly says OK. If I click on the OK button the dialog box closes
and I am back at the OpenOffice.org Basic Macro Organizer dialog box.
Library1 is now in the panel. The buttons on the right offer Edit,
Close, Password, New, Import, Export and Delete. The Import button just
takes me back to the file browser window. The only button that makes
sense is Close, so I click on it. The dialog box closes, but Library1
does not appear in the dialog box for OpenOffice.org Basic Macros.

I probably have failed to understand the functions of the buttons, or
something. Where have I gone wrong?
