I have 3.0 on Ubuntu Intrepid x86_64. The online update is not working. This morning if I clicked on Tools > Options > Online Update > Check Now all I got was a rotating icon indicating that it was trying. After five minutes I gave up. I tried several times but it could never find the online update. This afternoon it returns a message "Online update failed." --
