I have 3.0 on Ubuntu Intrepid x86_64. The online update is not working.
This morning if I clicked on Tools > Options > Online Update > Check
Now all I got was a rotating icon indicating that it was trying. After
five minutes I gave up. I tried several times but it could never find
the online update. This afternoon it returns a message "Online update
failed."
Today, February 2 at 8:00 am Los Angeles CA time it gives me the error
message "Could not establish Internet connection to
update30.services.openoffice.org." I also cannot connect to that
address with a web browser. However, a ping to that address is working.
The main site is up at 11:56 am Eastern time / 8:56 am Pacific time
No virus found in this outgoing message.
