I tried the formula above and it prints (for me) just fine using
standard sans & serif fonts & also opened in Adobe Reader 8. If you'd
like to send me a few problem pages of the document (or the whole thing)
I'll be happy to test. I do have the junicode fonts, but I only have the
standard Arial, so you'll need to tell me where you got that one from.

On Intrepid - Gnome:

On Hardy - Gnome:
Ubuntu OOo PPA 3.0.1
Ubuntu 2.4.1
OOo 3.0.1 & 2.4.2

Printer is an Canon MP750 using TurboPrint drivers.
