Well, it's not the junicode; I reinstalled on the hardy machines from
the repository and it's the same on all systems (intrepid and hardy):
Version 0.6.15. I then printed from the Hardy machines (standard OOo and
(U)PPA OOo) and again, no wide/bolding in the brackets (height is fine).

So for some reason the issue is with Ubuntu intrepid as OOo 3.0.1
(stndard and PPA) print identical.
