I've been using the 2.4 version of OOo for some time and have saved write
files as .doc format for communicating with others who only have Microsoft
Office. Now I've updated to the 3.0 version and my first attempt at saving
a file in this format won't work. I'm doing the same thing I've always
done, namely, Save As Microsoft Word .doc format. When I do this the file
appears as an .odt file.
