Central European Summer Time is two hours ahead of UTC and (US) Eastern
Daylight Time is four hours behind UTC - so six hours behind Hamburg
clock time (er, not twenty hours ahead). So 11 a.m. on Thursday in
Hamburg is 5 a.m. on *Thursday* in New York, Washington, Detroit, Miami,
Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, etc.
