I know absolutely squat about mac computers, but have a friend who wants to use OOo on one. When I searched for 'openoffice on mac' on the openoffice.org/ site, I found several inquiries similar to mine, but no answers. Has anyone been successful at this? And, if the answer is "Yes," could you please share a link or specific 1-2-3-type instructions on how to go about it? It is a laptop with Mac OS X v10.5.8
