No quite. What I did was to take empty odt and replaced the content.xml
with the one from the file DL.odt. Rebuilt a new odt and opened that. In
taking apart DL.odt I noticed the DL.zip and that the Pictures directory
was missing.

Hmm, not there yet. I keep getting the following:
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found
14:24:29 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Just email it to me directly off-list so I can try rebuilding the file.
