I removed the program and reinstalled it with just Calc. The same 171
MB folder appears. The problem as I see it is that the install
program puts everything in the OpenOffice folder on the hard disk
(zipped jar files, unwanted programs, etc.) instead of in a TEMP file
for deletion after the install is complete.

Since I have a CD for emergencies, why leave everything on my hard
disk after the installation? Can this be avoided?

Thanks,
