A co-worker came to me with this situation. He applied top and bottom
borders to one row, using the Borders button on the toolbar. He printed
the sheet with the grid visible. He couldn't see the borders he applied
because they were essentially indistinguishable from the grid. I showed
him how to use Format > Cells to apply thicker border lines. His
question in response was whether there was any way of changing the
default border thickness, so he could use the more convenient (for him
anyway) toolbar button. I could not find a way to do this. Is there a
way that I'm missing?
