This is a firm which uses OpenOffice. They have found that translators generally want documents converted to M$ formats before they can work on them.

The firm wants to keep its documents in OpenOffice formats throughout - not convert them to M$ for the translators' convenience and convert them back after translation. That sounds reasonable to me. Why not keep everything within the family?

I do not really get your question!

Subject: [users] Translator/s which use(s) OpenOffice

A user is looking for translator/s able and willing to translate documents in OpenOffice formats -i.e. translator/s who would not require the documents to be in M$ formats.

Does anyone know of such (a) translator/s?
