Hi I am using OpenOffice for Word Processing, and have saved my files, in what I thought was MicroSoft Word. I sent my resume to a friend to look over and she was not able to open the file with a message appearing as such:
If the attachment is what you sent, then it is not in MS office format. The .odt at the end tells you that you saved the document in OpenOffice native format.
