Please explain your statement that removing OpenOffice will cause you to
lose all of your Microsoft products.
Unless there's something that you know about your system that is highly
unusual and not obvious to me, there will be no loss of MS software by
uninstalling OpenOffice.
A side question is why do you need to remove it from your computer if
you find it to be excellent software.
