FYI: This is a public mail list run and used by 1000s of OpenOffice.org users. The only Microsoft Office file Formats that OpenOffice.org has is the new Office 2007 formats (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) The reason you had trouble with your OLE 2000 was because Microsoft's Office package over wrote it. MS Office and OpenOffice.org can both exist on the same machine. But with OpenOffice.org you will not need MS Office. This will answer some of your install, useage and file sharing questions. http://24.197.142.167/~jack/openofficefaq.php -- http://24.197.142.167/~jack/openofficefaq.php Read the OpenOffice.org FAQ Microsoft users go to http://www.pclinuxos.com for a great user friendly Linux experience! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
