Hello there I am completely new to Open Office having been introduced to its
advantages on a friends computer yesterday. I was greatly impressed by what I
saw but am worried that I don't have a repeat of when I recently installed, (I
wish I hadn't), Microsoft Office Home and Students 2007. I had a lot of trouble
with my Outlook Express year 2000 even though I asked the supplier if it would
be affected. He replied that it would not, but then he is there to sell stuff.
Could you please advise if I installed your version of Open Office 2.3 could
this possibly affect any other programs or documents that I have. I have heard
that there may be a possibility that it may create problems with my existing
Office Files that I have made and saved. I have also heard that there is
somewhat of a compatibility problem between Open Office and some versions of
Microsoft Office. I await your reply and wish to thank you for any help or
