This is a long shot... did you by any chance change recently the appearance
of your desktop?
I wonder if the buttons are actually there but you just cannot see them
because of a display problem (dialog box too short).

Can you try to press Alt+A (this is the shortcut for accept) and see if
something happens?
The other shortcuts are Alt+R (reject) Alt+C (accept all) Alt+E (reject
all).

Also, in the change menu, is the "protect records" menu entry marked? this
should gray out the buttons only, but maybe for some reason it makes them
disappear in your case...

Cheers,

Michele
The shortcuts (ALT+A etc) works.
"Protect records" does not have a check-mark before it.

I have received the files with the changes as an attachment to E-Mails and
saved the files in a folder. The person who has sent me the files had no
trouble accepting or rejecting the changes.

Is there a way to change the "default" size of the dialog boxes that come up
from time to time?

Is there anything else we can try that might fix the problem so the buttons can
be use instead of the shortcuts?

Walter
