It wasn't funny.
I'm sorry you didn't find it funny, but that really has nothing to do
with whether it was intended as a joke. Again, lighten up. You won't
get annoyed so easily and you'll be less likely to send ill-considered
email accusing others of sociopathic tendencies.
And I explicitly told you that the question you asked is rhetorical,
unjustified and irrelevant to the purpose of the OO list.
Yes, it is rhetorical. That is the nature of debate.
The primary, fundamental nature of debate is relevancy.
Actually, debate is rhetoric. You and I probably disagree on what is
relevant.

I'm also curious; if you have found this so tedious, why have you
prolonged it?
I didn't. I wrote you off list. And your response has confirmed the
sociopathic character of your participation on the openoffice users
list.
More personal abuse. Since you are attempting to prolong the exchange
by some means, I think you're actually enjoying it, rather than finding
it tedious. Your words and actions seem inconsistent.
You have posted a constant stream of comments not relevant to the
purpose for which the list was created (and even, text sent to you
via private mail) to the openoffice users mailing list without the
authors permission. Do not do so again.
You are entitled to your opinion of course. Assuming that everyone else
participating in the thread disagreed with me, I could only have posted
about half the stream at most.
