No, I don't really think so. This thread is, or should be, about what
makes the list communication more effective. I have no right or
interest to debate how you live your own life. I thought that was
obvious.

exactly: nobody cares what I or you find personally convenient, the
only thing worth discussing here is what is *objectively* convenient
to make list-based communication more effective. All I wrote and all I
am interested to discuss here is about that context only. I also
explicitly said, for example, that nobody should ever bother if
members of a particular family or company top or bottom post to each
other.

I repeat "never top post" in mailing list conversations. And in that
context, I confirm everything else I wrote.

Now, if you and somebody else have started an absolutely private
conversation about which absolute rules you should follow whenever
using email that's only your business and you shouldn't use the list
for this. If I had realized this earlier, I would have only made this
request, sorry.

I am not sure we're talking of the same thing. My comment has nothing
to do with the latest threads I thought what I wrote above the first
time I saw a message from you, months ago. I refer to the fact that it
doesn't project the best image of the OOo community when people who
know nothing about it ask something to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and get an answer
signed with your current alias.

And of course, while I think the sooner you get rid of it the best it
is for the whole community, I am well aware that there other people
who aren't, er, doing their best to not create problems. But every day
has its problems.
