More anti-Windows FUD.
It is quite true that Windows Vista has a large number of problems,
documented at various places on the Web.
It is also true, though not here stated, that its security process is
very annoying.
But OpenOffice.org also normally works on it, with no problems at all,
just as well as it works on Windows XP or on other operating systems. So
do the vast majority of programs, whether they be Windows programs
written specifically for Windows or open source programs.
One, and only one, user, has a problem of some kind loading on Vista.
But one single user having a unique problem tells you nothing about any
operating system one way or the other. It may be that the operating
system in this case is “not necessarily” free from blame, but it
certainly looks very much like it is in this case, when no-one else
complains about this.
Should I make an issue about the many users who have complained about
font issues under Ubuntu? Probably, if there was a real issue there,
rather than real problems which are, so far as I can tell, usually
cleared up.
FUD about any operating system is still FUD. So stop your ignorant
innuendo and instead complain about real issues, if you have any in
respect to Vista and OpenOffice.org
