I've tried Thunderbird but I'm not a big fan. I have been using Firefox

years though and like it very much!
I really like that Outlook bundles email and calendar functions into one.
Of course they bundle other things in there as well, but I don't use those
things. Tasks, journal...none of that stuff. I like having an email
client
that allows for multiple email addresses and has a calendar function too!

If you add the Lightning calendar extension to Thunderbird, you will find
that it almost completely approximates to what Outlook can do....
