As Harold said there are lots of results from google - in particular, from google groups I see http://groups.google.co.uk/group/microsoft.public.officeupdate/browse_ thread/thread/64c2221f4aa4a539/b7f725e10fbe3859?lnk=st&q=internal+erro r+2371#b7f725e10fbe3859 which suggests some sort of problem with an internal file version check: possibly down to a corrupted file, or even lack of privileges. Have you check the MD5 of the download, and made sure you have admin privs?
