There could be any number of reasons why Windows broke your "association with OOo (OpenOffice.org), but you can set the Windows file associations yourself with the following procedure: Changing file associations ========================== Find a file of the type you wish to associate with a program. Right click on the file icon. >From the pop-up menu, select "Open With > Choose Program...". Check "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" and choose, or browse for, the desired application.
