HI! I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THIS PROGRAM WAS COMPLETE CRAP! I COULD NOT TYPE LOWERCASE LETTERS! BUT THEN I WAS SHOWN THE CAPS LOCK KEY! IT IS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD! I PRESSED IT ONCE AND A LIGHT WENT OFF ON THE KEYBOARD AND SINCE THEN I CAN TYPE LOWERCASE LETTERS TOO! THAT IS, LIKE, SOOOOO COOL! NOW I PRESS IT! LOOK! By the way, "spam" means *unsolicited* *commercial* email. You receive the OOo mailing list messages because you joined the list. In other words, you solicited them. In addition, they are not commercial messages, because they do not want you to buy, donate or promote anything: these messages contain questions and responses about the Open Office program, plus the occasional tangential flamewar about various religious issues like operating systems, free software licences and whether people who can write but can not read should be treated as mentaly challenged or as ignorant agros.
