The format is YYYY-MM-DD. A slash in a date or time denotes an interval. If you write a two-digit year, you are not Y2K compliant. There's one part of the standard I disagree with: A week begins on Sunday, not Monday. For religious purposes, it begins at sunset on Saturday, but it's pretty rare that I go to the office on Saturday night. Pierre
