Hey list,
I've been bickering about my stage 1 and supertrapp problems, but I think
I'm on the wrong path. My goal is to have a very fast max. I've been
listening mildly to all the kerker/hindle talk and it's made me think, "I
should be going with a full exhaust and a stage 7!" If I pursue this road,
1) What is the best performing combo? (if there could possibly be a
concensus!). I would like to keep my center stand if it only means a pony or
two. Also I am concerned about craftsmanship. Supertrapp slip-ons leave a
2" gap of black pipe right below the side overs. I don't understand why a
company would do that.
2) Cost. Is all I need $500-700 pipe and jet kit and maybe individual
filters for stage7?
3) Is there anything else to consider? Losing Vboost, permanently changing
carbs from drilling, melting rubber from a hot hindle, etc. I want something
that will work right and stay right and leave me in amazement.
