slight backfire

I wondered if any of you guys ran in to this one ? I have a 92' v-boost version Max and it does the weirdest thing but only when it is cold for the first 5 min. or so it backfires slightly it seams like through the front left hand side carb. when idling if I take of it would stall for a sec. but as I said it is doing that once or twice until it worms up . thanks for any suggestions Marius
