the European Max comes without any restrictions
regarding what you can do with the carburetion . Slide covers have no special
tamper proof screw, needles have five slots to choose from, idle mixture screws
only have a rubber protection to avoid rust, so I still believe that if there is
a lean mixture problem, we in Europe would have enough resources to sort out the
problem.
In my case I have tried adjusting the screws from
fully closed (clockwise) to four turns anti clock wise with no real effect on
this sudden cough when opening the throttle. I must say it is very annoying and
what is more, it can't be good for the engine.
