Mine does the same. It did it when standard and
it does it now with the Dynojet Stage 7 Kit. I have tried richening the
idle with the idle air screws but get the same result. as you have pointed out
the cough seems to come from the front left side, but I'm not sure. After some
thought, I imagined that the lost spark system could be playing tricks on us
making false explosions, but I don't really know. Sometimes I wish Yamaha would
come up in this tech website and give us some explanation to what goes on.
One thing I'm sure is that they are reading each and every message.
