Scott, Have you ever checked the cam timing ? If the cam timing is out
of
phase the engine will do this . I would look at this after eliminating 
the ignition but I would think that a bad ignition coil would show on
the dyno sheet & the plugs should show a bad coil after a dyno run . The
ignition controller does increase advance to 9000 but there is not
enough change from 6-9k to cause a flat line .
Just a thought.
