Gary,
I can do the bowls pretty quick now that I have all hex head carb
screws ... but you don't have to drop the bowls if you just want to
change mains .. break them loose .. and finish unscrewing them with a
round toothpick ... (if you press it in there firmly .. they will stay
on and you can lift them right out the hole). Check out the other post
... you don't want to cheat by using too much mixture screw .. you
will end up too rich at idle and fluff your plugs. I suppose you could
go up to Mikuni 160 mains .... I don't know .. this seems like a lot
.. but IMHO if you are pulling top end OK now ... then I would leave
them alone until you were completely happy with your low end
performance, (changing your mains will affect you needle setting ..
and too much main will just cost you horsepower).

I would try the DJ150s in the PAJ2 position ... and then readjust your
mixture screws. I think you will like it ... Go out and see how it
feels .. cruising at 50-55mph and de-accelerating ... This may be all
you need. Are you really still running a normal Vboost operation ??
What are you doing for a filter arrangement ?? (this will have the
biggest impact on ball parking the pilots).
