Before you start spending money on new stuff, make sure that what you have
is working properly. It's very possible that it's just way out of tune
and/or adjustment. If the previous owner has added a lot of aftermarket
parts, it's very likely that he's also played around with the carbs, etc.
Paul's page can give you a lot of good information on what to check and how
to do it.
