djgorniak,
If you are concerned that your Max does not have enough power I would
suggest putting it on a dyno and seeing what you really do have. This
is a good starting point for any performance evaluation.

There are a lot of highly modified Vmaxes that do not make 100 RWHP
any more ..... it doesn't take a whole lot of "modification" to throw
away performance ... this can easily be accomplished in you own garage
with just a screwdriver and a pair of vise grips ...... ie: an overly
rich needle can make your midrange and "Vboost" appear to fade away
...... a main jet that is too large will step on top end pull ...
plugged or mis-adjusted pilot mixtures can cause popping, backfires or
sluggish hesitant off idle and light throttle behavior .. etc .....

Compression, vacuum and plug inspection are excellent preliminary
checks to make sure you don't have any obvious problems. If nothing
odd show up there then I would rush to my nearest dyno shop. You
should be falling into a 108-118 RWHP range with a healthy stock bike.

I don't know why you would have specs of a 3.3 second 0-60 but not
have any specs on 1/4 mile times .. where did you get the 3.3 spec ??
If you launch in first gear ... and shift at 10200 RPM you will be
doing 59.09 MPH ........
