Very interesting facts about Stan's bike, wonder what makes the difference. One thing
is clear, having the v-boost which I'm sure he has, mid range is unbeatable.
It's good to know that the stacks on the VGAS have some protection, but to my
understanding they are not placed technically speaking in the best of places, since
the stacks need a rather undisturbed air surrounding them to make the best linear flow.
Where the VGAS stacks are placed, not only turbulent air will come in, but also some
venturi vacuum effect from the side flow created as you speed the bike will surely
have ill effects on the performance. Of course on the dyno and without a fan in front
of the bike the air conditions are perfect for this set-up..........
