The black box controls alot of things. If 93 or later you could swap
with someone and eliminate that part. How did it start? Are the wires
and plug caps original? If you have the big book and can use a ohm
meter, follow the trouble shooting section to find the problem. Has the
fuel filter ever been changed? Will it do it in all gears?
